by Beth Ford; Assistant Director of Public Relations

As interest grows in Cedarville’s online presence, the School of Biblical and Theological Studies looks to implement further structuring to the vision of online coursework. According to the School of Biblical and Theological Studies’ Dean, Dr. Jason Lee, Cedarville’s desire is to see “online Bible programs become a resource for our churches and a stimulus for Biblical education to reach around the world.”

Ched Spellman, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Bible has accepted the position as Director of Online Bible Programs. Spellman is a graduate of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Ph.D and a Master of Divinity.  Spellman currently teaches courses in biblical and theological studies to on-campus students. In addition to his current role, he will provide direction and implement structure to the new online Bible programs.

Spellman says, "Online education is an important and strategic area that will continue to grow. A strong biblical foundation is part of the legacy of Cedarville University. I'm glad to serve in this role as we seek to offer online courses in biblical and theological studies that support and extend this vision."
