300 by Thirty Social Media Campaign

by Beth Ford, Assistant Director of Public Relations

A new Cedarville University social media initiative, 300 by Thirty, will launch September 26. The campaign’s purpose is to generate 300 new college applications by September 30.

The University’s students, faculty and staff will use all forms of social media to encourage high school seniors to apply to Cedarville during the five- day period.

Cedarville students who get high school seniors to apply through a text message, Facebook, twitter or through email will be eligible to receive free Cedarville apparel. The student with the most referrals will win a dinner for six at The Cheesecake Factory. All high school seniors who apply during this period will be entered into a drawing to receive a $1,000 scholarship toward their freshman year tuition.

Located in southwest Ohio, Cedarville University is an accredited, Christ-centered, Baptist institution with an enrollment of 3,620 undergraduate, graduate and online students in more than 100 areas of study. Founded in 1887, Cedarville is recognized nationally for its authentic Christian community, rigorous academic programs, strong graduation and retention rates, accredited professional and health science offerings and leading student satisfaction ratings.
