by Xander Eliopulos, Public Relations Writer

Bereans at the Gate, a blogging group comprised of Cedarville University professors, were special guests in chapel at Cedarville University on March 23. This group, formed in 2013, comments on current events through their “Bereans at the Gate” blog.

The Bereans at the Gate regularly explore matters of politics, economics, history, law, and culture from a distinctly Christian perspective in their blog. The group consists of Mark Caleb Smith, Ph.D., professor of political science and director of the Center for Political Studies, Marc Clauson, Ph.D., professor of history and law, Jeff Haymond, Ph.D., associate professor of economics, and Tom Mach, Ph.D., professor of history

Mark Caleb Smith, Ph.D, professor of political science member of the Bereans, explains that while their focus in on blogging, "We are all professors, so when we interact with students, we hope they are provoked in the right way and that we do our best to encourage students to see reality, as much as possible, from a godly point of view."
