Cedarville University was ranked in the top one-third of all colleges and universities in the Educate to Career (ETC) college ranking index.
The ETC index analyzes the quality of students that enter a particular college, the total cost of attending the college and the percentage of students employed after graduation. Schools classified within this index are seen to have a high percentage of graduates employed in their field of study, relatively high earnings and a majority of students graduating in four years with very low loan defaults. The 1,200 colleges in the index are four-year institutions with an annual enrollment of 1,000 or more. The index provides reliable information that helps students determine the real cost of a particular school and what recent graduates in their intended major are doing.

Cedarville finished with an 82.8 ETC scoring value and was ranked 400th. It is the highest-ranked university in southwest Ohio. The scoring value represents the average annual income and employability of the graduates measured against the financial cost of their education. Cedarville’s first destination rate is 95 percent, indicating the percentage of students employed or in graduate school within six months of graduation.
