New GO-TELL Scholarship Awarded

In Cedarville University’s inaugural year of partnering with GO TELL Ministries, junior Dalia Akhnoukh and incoming freshman Jared Klimek, have been awarded $5,000 scholarships. The scholarships are for the 2015-2016 academic year.
GO TELL is a large ministry organization whose founder, Rick Gage, is a sought-after speaker at international events. GO TELL hosts several youth camps, provides international mission trips and holds the GO TELL Crusades, which attract thousands of students and youth leaders from churches across America.
Akhnoukh, majoring in biology, is from Cortland Manor, New York. Klimek, from Colorado Springs, Colorado, will enroll in the fall and is expected to major in electrical engineering.

Each year, students from seven colleges apply to be a GO TELL scholarship intern. The program allows students to serve for several weeks at GO TELL youth camps and at the end of the summer, experience missions abroad — all while earning a scholarship toward a participating university.

GO TELL chooses these interns after a video application and interview process. Akhnouhkh and Limek  were selected for the one-time scholarship and will serve with GO TELL this summer to promote Cedarville’s educational opportunities through GO TELL’s network and summer camps.

“It is an excellent opportunity for two Cedarville students to engage in a dynamic evangelistic ministry where they will receive training and spend a summer sharing the Gospel. At the same time, they'll be able to talk to high school students about Cedarville and benefit from a scholarship. We see it as a win-win,” says Janice Supplee, Ph.D., Cedarville’s vice president for enrollment management and marketing.
Located in southwest Ohio, Cedarville University is an accredited, Christ-centered, Baptist institution with an enrollment of 3,620 undergraduate, graduate and online students in more than 100 areas of study. Founded in 1887, Cedarville is recognized nationally for its authentic Christian community, rigorous academic programs, strong graduation and retention rates, accredited professional and health science offerings and leading student satisfaction ratings.
