Best-Selling Author Tim Elmore to Speak at CU

Dr. Tim Elmore, president and founder of Growing Leaders, will speak at Cedarville University on Friday, Oct. 24, at 10 a.m. in the Dixon Ministry Center.

Growing Leaders is a nonprofit organization that focuses on the leadership development of youth, founded by Elmore in 2003. He and his team travel to private and public universities, corporations and churches around the world engaging people, through interactive learning, on what it means to be a leader.

Elmore has spoken to more than 350,000 students at campuses across the country including Duke University, Stanford, Baylor University and Purdue. Elmore is a best-selling author of more than 25 books, including “Habitudes®: Images that Form Leadership Habits and Attitudes®,”  “Artificial Maturity: Helping Kids Meet the Challenge of Becoming Authentic Adults” and “Life Giving Mentors.”

More than 350 prospective students and their families will attend the event as part of CU Friday and will have the opportunity to hear from Dr. Elmore alongside current Cedarville students, faculty and staff.
