Dr. David Jeremiah to Speak in Chapel

Dr. David Jeremiah, a 1963 Cedarville University graduate and founder of Turning Point ministries, will speak in chapel on Thursday, Jan. 28. The son of former Cedarville president Dr. James T. Jeremiah, he will speak in the auditorium that bears his father’s name. 

Jeremiah currently serves as the senior pastor at Shadow Mountain Community Church in El Cajon, California. His daily 30-minute radio program is heard on more than 2,200 stations worldwide. 

He has also authored numerous books on Christian theology and morality, as well as the Jeremiah Study Bible, and was named Broadcaster of the Year in 1999 by the National Religious Broadcasters. 

Jeremiah earned a bachelor's degree from Cedarville and a master's degree from Dallas Theological Seminary. 

In addition to his work with Turning Point and Shadow Mountain Community Church, David also serves on the board of trustees at Cedarville.

He and his wife, Donna, who also attended Cedarville, have four children and 12 grandchildren.
