Published Author and Entrepreneur to Speak in Chapel

Sebastian Traeger, a highly successful entrepreneur and published author, will speak at Cedarville University chapel on Wednesday, Oct. 14.

Traeger is co-author of “The Gospel at Work: How Working for King Jesus Gives Purpose and Meaning to Our Jobs.” Both Traeger and co-author Greg Gilbert will speak at 7 p.m. on Oct. 13 during the Gospel at Work Conference on Cedarville’s campus. 

During the chapel session and evening event, Traeger and Gilbert will unpack the powerful ways the Gospel can transform individuals in their workplace. 

Traeger is a successful entrepreneur who has co-founded a number of companies, including Christianity.com, FiveStreet.com, Razoo.com, Silas Partners and Village Phone, which is located in El Salvador.

He currently serves as the executive vice president and chief operating officer of the International Mission Board (IMB). Traeger serves as an elder at Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, D.C., and is on the board of GuideStone Financial Resources of the Southern Baptist Convention. 

He holds a B.A. in politics from Princeton University and lives with his wife, Nikki, and their three children in Washington, D.C.
