Southern Seminary President to Speak at Cedarville

Dr. R. Albert Mohler Jr., president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, will speak in chapel at Cedarville University on Thursday, Sept. 10.

A published author, Mohler serves as a board member for Focus on the Family, The Council for Biblical Manhood and Womanhood and is a council member for The Gospel Coalition.

Considered to be one of the leading voices in the evangelical community, Mohler has appeared on a variety of national news shows and has been quoted in a number of national newspapers, including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.

Mohler earned a bachelor’s degree from Samford University, and his master’s and doctoral degrees from Southern Seminary. 

Mohler and his wife, Mary, are the parents of two children, Katie and Christopher.
