Cedarville welcomes Heritage Foundation VP back to chapel

Jennifer Marshall, vice president for the Institute for Family, Community, and Opportunity at The Heritage Foundation, will speak in chapel at Cedarville University on Wednesday, Nov. 8.

The Heritage Foundation formulates and promotes conservative public policies. In her role, Marshall oversees research on education, marriage, family and religion, and oversees familyfacts.org, an online catalog of social science research related to family and religious practice.

Before joining The Heritage Foundation, Marshall was senior director of family studies at the Family Research Council and taught at an American school in Lyon, France. She then worked for Empower America, a free market think tank, before joining The Heritage Foundation in 2003.

Marshall has appeared on numerous radio and TV shows, including C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal” and PBS’ “To the Contrary.” She has also testified before Congress and spoken at many national and international forums.

She received her bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College and master’s degrees from Reformed Theological Seminary and the Institute of World Politics. She also serves as the Joseph C. and Elizabeth A. Anderlik Fellow at The Heritage Foundation.
