"Cedarville Stories" Now Available on New Podcast

Cedarville Stories podcast with Dr. Glen DuerrThe first episode of “Cedarville Stories,” a podcast of Cedarville University, will be available on September 11.

The inaugural podcast features Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Loren Reno, who currently serves as special advisor to Cedarville University president Dr. Thomas White. Reno has also served as vice president for academics and as the first dean of Cedarville’s School of Business Administration.

Reno came to Cedarville after a 38-year career in the U.S. Air Force.

Upcoming guests include Dr. Glen Duerr, Cedarville associate professor of international studies and a respected media source on international affairs; Dr. Karen Wonders, founder and executive director of Maple Tree Cancer Alliance, which provides exercise support to aid the recovery of cancer patients; and Dr. Chuck Clevenger, an award-winning a piano and art professor at Cedarville for 33 years.

"The podcast will introduce listeners to new members of the Cedarville family and go in depth with people who have been part of Cedarville for decades,” commented Mark D. Weinstein, executive director of public relations and host of the podcast. “My hope is to share the many ways in which Cedarville University has carried out its mission – transforming lives through excellent education and intentional discipleship in submission to biblical authority.

New episodes will release every Wednesday. The first season runs from September 11 to December 18. Season two of “Cedarville Stories” will open in early January 2020.

“One of the best parts of my job is sharing the amazing ways how God is working in and through the lives of the Cedarville family,” Weinstein said. “That’s why I’m so excited about this new podcast. It gives us a long-form format for sharing about the great people connected to the Cedarville family.”

“Cedarville Stories” will be available for download from Spotify and iTunes.
