Beachball Volleyball Tournament - August 26, 2017

What: The Beachball Volleyball Tournament is a huge all campus event that you will not want to miss. This will be our 32nd annual tournament this fall. Over 1600 students participated in last year's event.

Who: The entire on campus population has been broken down into 44 separate co-recreational teams formed according to the resident hall brother/sister units (along with one off-campus team). All on campus students should contact their RA to sign up. 

How: The format will be a Double Elimination Tournament starting at 3:45 p.m. in the Field House and concluding by 9:00 p.m. There will be a one hour break for supper from 6:00-7:00 p.m. Championship BBVB T-shirts will be awarded to the winners.

Dress: Each team is encouraged to dress according to some type of theme. The "Best Dressed" team will be awarded a pizza party the day of the tournament during the dinner break. 

Why: The purpose of the tournament is to provide the opportunity for students to establish a team spirit among their brother/sister units, meet many other students, participate in a physical activity, and have a great time.

Starting Time: 3:45 p.m. in the Field House

Where: Teams 1-22 will play their first several games in the Gym and teams 23-44 will play their first several games in the Field House. Check the Team Breakdown for team numbers.
