Thank you again for all of your assistance. You have been incredibly helpful and an absolute pleasure to work with. Your suggestions added lots of value to the event and helped us get great attendance! I work with a few universities for recruiting, and working with you at Cedarville is by far the smoothest and best.
Batts Morrison Wales & Lee, CPA
It was great to visit the Cedarville Campus and meet the students/faculty that support such a tremendous campus atmosphere. I've been to a lot of Universities but there was such a friendly and cohesive educational environment at the Cedarville campus. Thank you for being so informative and helpful with the visit to Cedarville University. I hope in the near future University of Cincinnati may return for your other events.
University of Cincinnati (Graduate Programs)
Thank you so much for all that you did to ensure our visit was a success. You really did a fantastic job and made things very easy for (us). The pizza event went off without a hitch thanks to you and your planning.
The (Spring Career Fair) was very well managed. The students came well-prepared and were very professional. Thank you for including our agency.

[I]t has been a pleasure working with you and your staff at Cedarville. Visiting Cedarville for the last two years has truly been a joy. This is due, in a large part, to your staff's "hands on" approach to interacting with employers.
Please know that both I and my command (Naval Recruiting District Ohio) hold Cedarville University in the highest regard - the quality of your education, your students, and their preparedness for the "real world" is second to none. Keep up the good work!

I’ve traveled to 9 career fairs from the end of January to yesterday, and your students were by far the most engaged in the recruiting process. They were prepared and active participants in finding ways to increase their likelihood of success in navigating the job market. We even had a handful of students who already committed to summer internships ask for us to share tips on making themselves more marketable. They may not have been looking for an opportunity for this summer and too bad for us, but they were thinking ahead and that is all important. Thank you for having us. Keep up the great work.

We were very much impressed! Everything was wonderful. We were so impressed with your students; well prepared, great questions, excellent communication, eager, professional, appropriately dressed, I can go on and on! The staff was very helpful as well. I really enjoyed the orientation for employers; what a great way to introduce yourselves as an institution and provide an in-depth look at program specifications that mold your students into young professionals.
Nationwide Children's Hospital
Your staff, facilities, and especially candidates were top-shelf, first-rate, outstanding! You thought of everything and it showed, so our thanks to you for inviting us, and I'm calling dibs on our next recruiting trip to your campus. Please let us know how we can better/further liaise with you and thanks again.

Attending the career fairs has helped me become comfortable conversing with potential employers. I was able to develop quick ways to describe my studies and interests at school. ...You can develop relationships over 4 years of school with different representatives at the career fair. My sophomore year I met the company with whom I interned with after my junior year--they remembered me from the year before. My senior year I met with a company who remembered me from my freshmen year and now offered to help in my senior design project. Attending the career fairs helped build my confidence in speaking with other professionals and was the avenue for some great work experiences.
I have had the opportunity to have two internships (the MITRE corporation near Washington DC and SeaLandAire in Jackdon, MI) and have accepted a job with Lockheed Martin.

I am doing an internship through 104.9 The River in Columbus, and have a digital marketing position through Chick-fil-A. I was led to both due to connections I made at the career fair this spring. …I got both the full time job and full time internship through the Career Fair.
Thank you for your efforts putting together the Career Fairs! They obviously helped me a lot, and I know make a difference for students
I interviewed with a real estate management firm back in Virginia over spring break and was offered a position on the spot, which I subsequently accepted. I appreciate your advice and encouragement throughout this process
Because of the career fair I will have a summer job that pays more than the two part time jobs I was going to try to get, I get to do what I am passionate for - Nursing, ministry to kids and fellow staff, as well as take my Cedarville online classes. So thank you for doing what you do, I can rest assured that I will be able to achieve a job promptly after graduation thanks to the skills, materials, resources, etc that Career Services has available to students
Thank you for helping me with my LinkedIn over the last few years. I just got an email from a guy who works in a toxicology lab in Cleveland asking if I'd like a part-time position. He searched for "Toxicology Ohio" and my profile came up. He looked through my experience and asked if I'd be interested

I just wanted to let you know that I got the internship with JPMorgan! Thanks for all of your help with advice and resume tips
I thought [the interview] went great. I was really prepared for it and I felt really confident. Every question that they asked me I had on the sheet in front of me. It was kinda funny, as soon as they started to ask a question I knew exactly what they were going to ask
Student interviewing with JPMorgan Chase
Just wanted to drop a thank you for coming and speaking this past week. I found almost everything you said incredibly helpful and wanted to express my thankfulness. Making goals before sitting down to eat might be one of the simplest, but best pieces of advice I’ve ever gotten

I attended the Meet the Firms event last night and I wanted to thank you for making that opportunity possible. It was a true blessing and encouragement to me as an accounting major. The night was extremely helpful, and provided such an amazing opportunity to connect with possible employers and to meet other students majoring in accounting

I met with you a few weeks ago in preparation for my interview with Diamond Hill! I think at the time I mentioned I also had interviews with JPMorgan Chase and Cardinal Health. I got offers from both, and accepted the job at Cardinal
Thank you for the help and support that you have given me in pursuing graduate studies. I greatly appreciate your providing advice on the application process and on pursuing opportunities beyond Cedarville in general. I am currently in the process of pursuing a JD with the possibility of acquiring a joint JD/MBA. I thought you would want to know that today, the UW Madison MBA program sent me an acceptance note. Thanks again

Exciting news! During finals week Turbocam got back to me and offered one of their entry-level engineering positions! I'm very excited about this opportunity. I would like to thank you for taking your time on those couple Fridays, praying for me, as well as allowing me to call you that time before the interview. I really appreciate all your help

I just wanted you to know that you played a vital role in helping me obtain a position at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. I did a two hour phone interview with them last Monday and they offered the job to me on Wednesday. You helped me formulate my thoughts and directed me to appropriately answer various types of questions. THANK YOU!!! You do an excellent job! Keep up the good work.
Thanks for your help on the phone interview that I had last week on Tuesday with the Alexander & Associates from Cincinnati, Ohio. It went very well, I felt like I was prepared for all of the questions that they asked. This would not have been so had I not filled out the worksheet we went over when we met. Every single question they asked me I had already written a response to. I feel like the interview definitely left them with a good impression. I just found out this morning that I did indeed get the internship and will be starting after classes finish.

I found out today that I have been offered the internship as well as a paying teaching position at the Children's Theatre! If it wasn't for the help of career services, I would never have been as prepared as I was. Thank you for all that you do for us!
Resume Review & Networking
I just wanted to thank Career Services for preparing me for the interview with Community Health Systems, the nation’s second largest hospital chain. After being hired, the person who interviewed me said it was my research and knowledge of the company which sold me to the company, which I would not have done without your presentation. Most of the questions asked were listed on the handout given which enabled me to be relaxed and confident at the interview. I really appreciate your time!
Thank you so much for taking so much time throughout this school year to assist me in finding an internship. From sculpting my resume to preparing for interviews, your advice has been incredibly beneficial. I’m so blessed with this opportunity at Cardinal Health, and will definitely let you know how it goes!

I am convinced that the assistance that I received through the Career Services department is the reason why I received a job that I recently applied for. My interviewer immediately offered me a job after reviewing my resume, and she was very impressed with the content and presentation of the cover letter and resume. I had a lot of trouble finding a job last summer, but your assistance has made the difference for this summer. Thank you so much! I really appreciate the people and purpose of Career Services.

I just wanted to follow up on this and let you know that I have this week accepted an offer from CVS\Caremark for the Sr. Applications Developer position. Thanks very much for helping me to get things started with this process by providing me with a contact. I wasn't getting anywhere prior to that and after I reached out to the person you recommended, things started moving immediately. I really do appreciate the helping hand.
Class of 2005
It's hard to believe that my time at Cedarville University has already concluded. I just wanted to thank you again for the impact that you had on me. I really appreciated how you consistently challenged us to view our careers in an others-centered and Christ-centered way. Thank you for the practical advice about everything from handshakes to resumes.
Class of 2013
In 2009, you, along with the career services office, greatly encouraged and helped me in job hunting and God opened up the door for me to work for a non-profit orphan care ministry in Tennessee. I'm still working and loving my job at Show Hope and wanted to again express my gratitude to you and the career services office for all of your help. Thanks again!!

During a faculty meeting, my boss told the school that my resume was perfect and that I had a great cover letter when I applied. So a big thanks to Career Services for helping me with that! ... I appreciate even more the help with grad school applications, resumes, cover letters, and interviews that I got from your office. I’m even thinking about stopping by to take Career Direct again sometime we’re back up in Cedarville. Thank you for all you provide for students and alumni!
