One Thousand Days Transformed - The Campaign for Cedarville

Many of the 1,600 students who work on the campus of Cedarville University take advantage of the employment opportunities available with Pioneer Food Services (serving the dining hall, catering at special events, etc.)

During Getting Started Weekend, Pioneer Food Services is available to answer questions concerning jobs and to assign students a time slot for interviewing with Pioneer Food Services. Students may stop by the main dining hall during daytime hours to speak with the Service Manager at other times during the year about employment opportunities.

The dining hall is open seven days a week and serves three meals each day. By accepting a work assignment, you are making a commitment to be at each shift. If you are unable to continue working during the semester, please exercise courtesy and consult with Pioneer management personnel.

To apply for food services employment, please complete the Pioneer Application and bring it with you for your interview.

The student must be processed through Student Employment. During Getting Started Weekend, Student Employment/Payroll will have an information table available in the Steven’s Student Center at designated times to assist with payroll paperwork. During the rest of the year, students should complete paperwork through Student Employment. Student Employment serves students in the Payroll Office between the hours of 1 – 4 p.m., Monday – Friday.

Please refer to the Student Employment or Payroll FAQ websites for a list of documents required to begin employment.

Students interested in additional on-campus employment opportunities must reference the Jobs on Campus page and view available positions. Students can complete profiles and submit information to various departments on campus.
