Cedarville, Ohio-If you’ve been wanting to gain EMT-Basic certification, now is your chance! Cedarville University is offering this non-credit continuing education class this summer.
Make a difference in the lives of people through skilled emergency medical care! Through didactic instruction, laboratory practice, and clinical experience in a variety of settings, this class will prepare you to obtain state EMT-Basic certification.
The cost for the course is $730. This fee includes the cost of the course and an EMT shirt. Students may purchase their textbook, workbook, blood pressure cuff, and stethoscope at the University Bookstore. Students will be responsible for the cost of the National Registry Exam.
Classes meet Tuesday and Thursday in the evenings and for the full day most Saturdays. Registration deadline is May 3; class begins May 8 and runs through June 30.
