The Cedarville University School of Pharmacy continues to accept applications for spaces in the pharmacy class beginning this fall 2011. "Although we have received more than 120 applications from across the nation, there is still time for interested students to apply," said Dave Ormsbee, assistant dean for pharmacy admissions. "Limited spaces are available, so we encourage every student considering pharmacy as a career to apply now."
Preferred admission is one of the distinct advantages of Cedarville's pharmacy program. Students can gain admission to the program right out of high school through the preferred admission pathway, securing a spot in the final four-year, advanced professional segment of the curriculum. This eliminates the pressure of competing for a spot after completing prepharmacy coursework, enabling students to enjoy their undergraduate experience. Cedarville also welcomes transfer students who have completed some of their prepharmacy courses elsewhere.
