Cindy Monroe hasn’t always been a successful CEO. Not long ago, she was a busy mom frustrated by the options available for working moms to shop on their terms. She started sewing purses on one machine in her basement, and now nine years later, Thirty-One Gifts has grown to more than 60,000 consultants nationwide.

The name Thirty-One comes from Proverbs 31. The Proverbs 31 woman is loved and respected by her family, yet she is an individual in her own right. She manages her home but also has savvy business skills. Similarly, women working as consultants for Thirty-One Gifts have the chance to create their own flexible schedule that allows enough time for both their family and their business.

Monroe will be speaking in chapel on April 10 at 10 a.m. The service will be held in the Jeremiah Chapel of the Dixon Ministry Center. The event is free and open to the public. You may also listen to the web stream of chapel. To order a CD, DVD, or MP3 download of a chapel message, visit the Cedarville University Media Store.
