Stay Involved With Cedarville This Fall

September 12, 2017

Fall at Cedarville

Welcome to another ParentConnect! We want to update you on some things happening on campus this fall that you and your student can be involved with.

Homecoming and Parents Weekend

Don't forget to register for homecoming and parents weekend, October 6-7. Spend time with your student and experience a fun fall weekend in Cedarville! We have two special events just for parents:

  • Friday, October 6, at 7 p.m. — Second Generation Dessert Reception, for alumni parents and their student(s); Stevens Student Center Event Rooms
  • Saturday, October 7, at 8 a.m. — Current Parent Breakfast, for all parents of current students; Stevens Student Center Event Rooms

Don't wait! Registration ends this Friday, September 15!

Fall Career Fair

The Fall Career Fair will be Wednesday, September 27. This is the first of two major career fairs that Career Services offers to our students. It's open to all students, and everyone can benefit from attending. It's never too early to start learning about available career opportunities and practicing how to effectively market your skills. Encourage your student to register soon!

Jacket Connect

Jacket Connect is a great way to encourage students and assist them as they launch their careers. Sign up to share your experiences and wisdom with a student. You will help them as they are planning for their future. There are now more than 1,000 users on Jacket Connect, and we’d love to have you participate!

Chapel Streaming

Want to follow along with what your student is learning in chapel? Watch chapel every morning at 10 a.m. through livestreaming or Facebook Live, or visit our archives to watch past chapels.

Stinger's, our campus snack shop and favorite lunch place, went through a major renovation and expansion this summer. It's now open and the students are loving it! Thank you to all of the parents who gave generously to this project.

P.S. If you haven't done so already, follow us on Twitter: @CUParentConnect!
