This week, our president, Dr. Thomas White, began a yearlong sermon series through the book of Nehemiah. The series is titled "Faithful." We’ll discover that even when we are faithless, our God is faithful. We have a promise-keeping God who is ready to forgive and restore.
We invite you to walk alongside with your student for this series. It's a great way for you to see the heart of Cedarville University and our president while staying connected to your son or daughter. You can watch chapel by accessing the chapel livestream every morning at 10 a.m. EDT/EST. You'll join hundreds of voices in worship to our great God, and then dig deeply into His Word. Or, you can visit the chapel archive to view past messages of this series, or any other chapel speaker. We also have a new CU Chapel+ app that allows you to watch chapel from your smartphone anywhere, anytime.

We'll kick off the fall semester this week with our annual Fall Bible Conference — always a highlight of the year.
This year's speaker will be Dean Inserra, Lead Pastor of City Church in Tallahassee, Florida. He has titled his messages "The Process," speaking from 1 Corinthians 2:9-3:3, and he will challenge students to continue in Christian growth and maturity.
The conference starts Monday night at 7 p.m. and continues Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., and Thursday at 10 a.m. It will be an incredible time of worship and spiritual renewal.
Want to be a part of this incredible experience yourself? You can livestream all services via chapel livestreaming or watch later from the chapel archive. It's a great way to stay connected with your student! You can also download the new CU Chapel+ app to your smartphone to access live chapels on the go.

We've recently released the spring issue of Cedarville Magazine – Chapel: The Heartbeat of Campus – and we'd like to share it with you!
This issue of Cedarville Magazine celebrates the impact of chapel, or more importantly, how God has used this extraordinary hour of the day to transform lives for His glory and Kingdom purposes. You'll discover why we consider chapel to be the heartbeat of a Christian university, and why we have determined to maintain our commitment to a daily gathering required for all undergraduate students. Chapel is the pivot on which each of our students’ 1,000 days on our campus turns. This is the place where we remember who we are as the people of God, joining together to praise Him and learn from His Word, and to build each other up in the faith.
As you read through the pages of the magazine, be encouraged by how your student will learn and grow through the chapel experience at Cedarville University.

We hope you are enjoying your extended time with your student during the long break. We're excited to welcome them back to campus next week!
We're also excited about our annual Missions Conference, January 8-10. This is a perfect way to kick off the new semester, joining together and celebrating Cedarville's heart for the Gospel. This year we're welcoming Dr. Kevin Ezell, President of the North American Mission Board (NAMB), as the special speaker. We'll also hear from Dr. Matthew Bennett, Cedarville Assistant Professor of Missions and Theology.
You can join with your students and watch sessions online. The Missions Conference services will be at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday and 10 a.m. on Thursday. Visit our chapel site to watch live, or visit later to watch an archived session.
