News You Need: Career Fair, Spring Break, Missions Trips

February 25, 2020

Cedarville University signAs we approach the midway point of spring semester, here is information that may be useful to you:

Spring Semester Career Fair

Did your student make it to the career fair last week? Career Services held its second major career fair of the year last Wednesday, February 19. Jeff Reep, Director of Career Services, reports that the fair was another huge success! There were a record 112 companies who attended a spring fair to recruit students, with 496 students, alumni, and community members participating. Career fairs are a great opportunity for students – regardless of class year – to make connections and obtain internships or full-time career positions.

Spring Break Information

Spring break is February 29–March 8, with classes resuming Monday, March 9. Make sure your student has secured a ride home or to wherever they may be going. Residence halls will be open for students staying in the area, but the dining hall will not be open.

Spring Break Missions Teams

Please be in prayer for our Global Outreach teams that will be going out during spring break, both within the U.S. and internationally. There are 16 teams going out with nearly 210 faculty, staff, and students participating. Please pray for safe travels for these teams and that the people they will be serving will be open to the message of the Gospel.

Experience Fall Bible Conference With Your Student

August 19, 2019

Chapel speaker and audienceWe'll kick off the fall semester this week with our annual Fall Bible Conference — always a highlight of the year.

This year's speaker will be Dean Inserra, Lead Pastor of City Church in Tallahassee, Florida. He has titled his messages "The Process," speaking from 1 Corinthians 2:9-3:3, and he will challenge students to continue in Christian growth and maturity.

The conference starts Monday night at 7 p.m. and continues Tuesday and Wednesday at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., and Thursday at 10 a.m. It will be an incredible time of worship and spiritual renewal.

Want to be a part of this incredible experience yourself? You can livestream all services via chapel livestreaming or watch later from the chapel archive. It's a great way to stay connected with your student! You can also download the new CU Chapel+ app to your smartphone to access live chapels on the go.

2017 President's Report

January 5, 2018

2017 President's Report

As we begin a new calendar year, it's a great time to reflect on God's goodness to Cedarville University in 2017 and all that He has done here. We are so grateful to Him, and grateful to you, as well, for entrusting your son or daughter to us

We'd like to share the 2017 President's Report with you. You'll notice a common thread: God has richly blessed Cedarville University. And everything we do, we do for Him. From record enrollment to cherished times in chapel to students taking the Gospel to a lost and hurting world, you’ll see that God continues to have His sovereign hand on our campus.

And, as we look to the new year, you can be confident that, by God's grace, we will continue to stand for the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ. We will remain resolute in pursuing our vision to transform lives for godly service, vocational distinction, and cultural engagement. Please take time to review this report and reflect on God's favor upon Cedarville University.
