2017 President's Report

January 5, 2018

2017 President's Report

As we begin a new calendar year, it's a great time to reflect on God's goodness to Cedarville University in 2017 and all that He has done here. We are so grateful to Him, and grateful to you, as well, for entrusting your son or daughter to us

We'd like to share the 2017 President's Report with you. You'll notice a common thread: God has richly blessed Cedarville University. And everything we do, we do for Him. From record enrollment to cherished times in chapel to students taking the Gospel to a lost and hurting world, you’ll see that God continues to have His sovereign hand on our campus.

And, as we look to the new year, you can be confident that, by God's grace, we will continue to stand for the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ. We will remain resolute in pursuing our vision to transform lives for godly service, vocational distinction, and cultural engagement. Please take time to review this report and reflect on God's favor upon Cedarville University.

7 Tips for College Students

September 5, 2017

I recently came across an article — 7 Tips for College Students — that I thought was helpful as I advise my college-age daughter. I'm hoping you find it beneficial as well. It's a couple years old, but the words still ring true. In the article, John Piper offers advice for college students who want to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and be prepared to serve Him. Read the article, and use it as you talk with your student over the next few years. Our role as parents may have changed, but we don't have to stop parenting.

And another great tip for your student — join a D-group! Discipleship groups help students grow in their walk with Christ as they study Scripture and develop authentic relationships. Encourage your student to sign up this week in the upper level of the SSC!
