We kicked off spring semester with our annual Missions Conference. This year was the largest conference ever, with 100 missions organizations and more than 50 missionaries on campus. Dr. Kevin Ezell of the North American Mission Board and Cedarville’s own Dr. Matt Bennett, Assistant Professor of Missions and Theology, challenged students to not just take the Gospel to places far away, but to live with Gospel purpose and passion wherever He leads them.
We thought you might like a taste of the Gospel-focused experience your student is getting at Cedarville University. Watch the video below for highlights of this year’s Missions Conference.

We hope you are enjoying your extended time with your student during the long break. We're excited to welcome them back to campus next week!
We're also excited about our annual Missions Conference, January 8-10. This is a perfect way to kick off the new semester, joining together and celebrating Cedarville's heart for the Gospel. This year we're welcoming Dr. Kevin Ezell, President of the North American Mission Board (NAMB), as the special speaker. We'll also hear from Dr. Matthew Bennett, Cedarville Assistant Professor of Missions and Theology.
You can join with your students and watch sessions online. The Missions Conference services will be at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday and 10 a.m. on Thursday. Visit our chapel site to watch live, or visit later to watch an archived session.

Occasionally, we'd like to share some positive ways Cedarville and our students are getting noticed in the media as they make a difference in the local community. Watch a recent news story about a group of our students who gave up a day to serve others in Xenia.

Fall break is coming up next week (October 18–21). Students will get a much-needed break from classes and spend time with family and friends. Please pray for our students, as many of them will be traveling during the weekend.
One group that you can specifically pray for is Aaron Cook, Director of Discipleship Ministries, and the Discipleship Council, who will be traveling to work among Navajo Indians at Immanuel Mission in Arizona. Please pray for safety as they travel and for opportunities to shine the light of Christ to people in need.
Fall Break Dining Hours
If your student will be staying on campus for the break, they'll need to be aware that the dining hall will be operating under abbreviated times. Here is the dining schedule for the break, Thursday, October 18. through Sunday, October 21:
- Breakfast: 8:30–9:30 a.m.
- Lunch: 12–1 p.m.
- Dinner: 5–6 p.m.
Additionally, Stinger's will be closed during the break.
