We hope you have enjoyed your extended time with your student during the long break. We're excited to welcome them back to campus this week!
We're also excited about our annual Missions Conference this week, January 9-11. This is a perfect way to kickoff the new semester, joining together and celebrating Cedarville's heart for the Gospel. This year we're welcoming Tony Merida, pastor of Imago Dei Church in Raleigh, North Carolina, as the special speaker. We'll also hear from Cedarville alumnus Jennifer DeKryger, a missionary with ABWE International at the Hospital of Hope, Togo, West Africa.
You can join with your students and watch sessions online. The Missions Conference services will be at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday and 10 a.m. on Thursday. Visit our chapel site to watch live, or visit later to watch an archived session.

As we begin a new calendar year, it's a great time to reflect on God's goodness to Cedarville University in 2017 and all that He has done here. We are so grateful to Him, and grateful to you, as well, for entrusting your son or daughter to us
We'd like to share the 2017 President's Report with you. You'll notice a common thread: God has richly blessed Cedarville University. And everything we do, we do for Him. From record enrollment to cherished times in chapel to students taking the Gospel to a lost and hurting world, you’ll see that God continues to have His sovereign hand on our campus.
And, as we look to the new year, you can be confident that, by God's grace, we will continue to stand for the Word of God and the Testimony of Jesus Christ. We will remain resolute in pursuing our vision to transform lives for godly service, vocational distinction, and cultural engagement. Please take time to review this report and reflect on God's favor upon Cedarville University.

Fall break is coming up next week (October 19–22). Students will get a much-needed break from classes and spend time with family and friends. Please pray for our students, as many of them will be traveling during the weekend.
Two groups that you can specifically pray for are a team of students that is heading to Houston, Texas, to help with hurricane relief efforts. In addition, Aaron Cook, Director of Discipleship Ministries, and the Discipleship Council, will be traveling to serve others in Teec Nos Pos, Arizona. Please pray for safety as they travel and for opportunities to shine the light of Christ to people in need.
Fall Break Dining Hours
If your student will be staying on campus for the break, they'll need to be aware that the dining hall will be operating under abbreviated times. Here is the dining schedule for the break, Thursday, October 19 through Sunday, October 22:
- Breakfast: 8:30–9:30 a.m.
- Lunch: 12–1 p.m.
- Dinner: 5–6 p.m.
Additionally, Stinger's will be closed during the break.
Important Correction: Earlier this week you received an email announcing an important change to your student's account. Unfortunately, we provided you with an incorrect telephone number for the Cashiers Office. The correct number is 937-766-7824. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
