Fitness and Recreation
At Cedarville, we are interested in the well-being of your spirit, your mind, and your body. Whether you’re a serious fitness buff or just want to work off stress from an all-night study session, we have inviting recreation facilities, as well as a wide variety of programs and services, to help you stay in shape, engage in friendly competition, or challenge yourself with something new.
Our 36-foot climbing wall is a great physical and mental challenge and a fun way to bond with friends as you encourage each other to new heights (literally!).
Grab a few friends and play our 18 target on-campus disc golf course, just for fun or get involved in one of our intramural tournaments or leagues.
The 60,000-square-foot Doden Field House is a shared facility between varsity athletes and the rest of the campus community. It is available for activities including running, basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, and tennis. Participate as part of intramural competitions or just as a way to hang out with friends.
From Zumba to spin and Pilates to martial arts, our full lineup of classes in the exercise studio is sure to include something that would interest you. You’ll have fun and meet new people while you stay in shape.
The Fitness Center houses the climbing wall, exercise studio, three racquetball courts, and designated areas for free weights, functional training, stretching, along with a full line of selectorized strength training machines and 50 cardio machines.
Our three racquetball courts provide great opportunities to meet up for friendly competition and stress relief. Rackets and balls are available at no charge.
Grab your friends for an informal match or join one of our intramural leagues or tournaments.
The gym is also a shared facility between our varsity athletes and the rest of the campus community. It is available primarily for varsity, intramural and informal basketball, volleyball, and badminton.
Burn off calories and stress as you enjoy the outdoors and Cedarville’s beautiful surroundings.
