President of NCLL Will Speak in Chapel

David C. Gibbs III, attorney and president for the National Center for Life and Liberty (NCLL), will speak at Cedarville University chapel on Thursday, Sept. 17. 

The NCLL defends life and liberty freedoms nationwide in the public and private realms. Gibbs litigates cases as a trial attorney and also speaks regularly at churches, conferences and universities. He is a frequent guest on television and radio news and talk programs.
 
Gibbs is also founder of the Gibbs & Associates Law Firm, with offices in Washington D.C., Dallas and St. Petersburg, Florida. He is best known as the lead attorney in the Terri Schiavo case, which garnered national media attention in 2005.

Gibbs represented Schiavo’s parents in the case, which was one of the watershed moments in right to life history.  He has been admitted to the state bar in Colorado, Florida, Ohio, Minnesota, North Dakota, Tennessee, Texas and the District of Columbia.
 
Gibbs has authored five books including “Fighting for Dear Life” and “Understanding the Constitution.” He also hosts a weekly radio program on Moody Radio Network,“Law Talk Live.”
 
Gibbs graduated from Duke Law School and has been married to his wife, Carin, for more than 20 years.  They live in Dallas with their four children.
