Mark Howell to Speak in Chapel

Dr. Mark Howell, senior pastor at Hunters Glen Baptist Church in Plano, Texas, will speak in chapel at Cedarville University on Sept. 6, 2016. Howell has served for 25 years at churches in Florida, Texas, North Carolina and Arkansas. 

After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carson-Newman College in Tennessee – where he also played linebacker for the 1986 NAIA national champion football team – Howell received his Master of Divinity and Doctor of Philosophy degrees from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in North Carolina.

Howell has a passion for missions and has led mission teams to 14 foreign countries including Mexico, South Africa, India and Ukraine. He currently serves as a trustee of the International Missions Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
