The American Enterprise Institute (AEI) Executive Council Executive Council will host fiscal and economic expert Romina Boccia Thursday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m. in the Dixon Ministry Center recital hall. Boccia will address the national debt in a lecture titled “The Most Predictable Crisis in U.S. History.”

The lecture is open to the public, and there is no charge for admission. After the lecture, the Executive Council will host a reception with Boccia.

Boccia is a research fellow for The Heritage Foundation, focusing on government spending and national debt. She also serves as deputy director of the Heritage Foundation’s Roe Institute for Economic Policy Studies.

“Learning about the national debt is just so important because we will all be paying taxes and voting for the people who can change it,” said Chandler Huffer, the Council member coordinating the event. “Just knowing what having national debt means and how to be fiscally responsible is important for everyone.”
