Cedarville welcomes Dr Peter Lillback to chapel

Dr. Peter Lillback will speak in chapel on October 3 during alumni week.


On October 3, 2017, Dr. Peter Lillback, president of Westminster Theological Seminary in Glenside, Pennsylvania, will speak in chapel at Cedarville University.

Lillback is a 1974 graduate of Cedarville University and has served as president of the seminary for nearly 12 years. He also serves as president of The Providence Forum, a nonprofit corporation that upholds America’s founding Christian doctrines, and senior editor of Unio cum Christo: An International Journal of Reformed Theology and Life.

After graduating from Cedarville, Lillback earned his master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1978 and his doctorate from Westminster Theological Seminary in 1985.

Lillback has published many works on history, theology and heroes of the faith including, “George Washington’s Sacred Fire,” which became a No. 1 best-seller on USA Today, Washington Post and Amazon, “Wall of Misconception” and “A Theological Guide to Calvin’s Institutes: Essays and Analysis.”
