9Marks Editor Coming to Chapel

Jonathan Leeman, editorial director for 9Marks, will speak in chapel at Cedarville University on Tuesday, Sept. 25. Chapel begins at 10 a.m.
Leeman edits the 9Marks book series as well as the 9Marks journal. 9Marks exists to aid church leaders to create healthy churches characterized by nine marks: preaching, biblical theology, the Gospel, conversion, evangelism, membership, discipline, discipleship and leadership.
Before his work at 9Marks, Leeman utilized his undergraduate and graduate degrees in political science as a journalist for an international economics magazine in Washington, D.C.
After being called to ministry, Leeman earned his Master of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky, and his Ph.D. in ecclesiology from the University of Wales in Cardiff, United Kingdom.
Leeman has written articles for “Canon and Culture,” “Tabletalk Magazine” and The Gospel Coalition. He has also written and edited multiple books about the church.
Leeman lives with his wife and four daughters in Cheverly, Maryland.
