Boyce College Dean and Professor Speaking in Chapel

Dr. Kevin Jones has co-edited a book on racism and is a research fellow for the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Dr. Kevin Jones, associate dean of academic innovation and professor of teacher education at Boyce College in Louisville, Kentucky, will speak in chapel at Cedarville University on Tuesday, Oct. 23. Chapel begins at 10 a.m.

Jones also serves as pastor of Christian education at Forest Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky where he preaches, teaches Sunday school, leads a small group, and oversees Sunday school curriculum and teacher training. He previously served as youth pastor of Watson Memorial Baptist Church in Louisville, Kentucky.

Along with his duties at Boyce College and Forest Baptist, Jones is a research fellow for the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention. He is co-editor of the book “Removing the Stain of Racism from the Southern Baptist Convention: Diverse African American and White Perspective.”

Jones has written curriculum for Menaissance, an education program designed to link classical literature to music. He is also a board member and curriculum writer for Manhood Journey, an organization dedicated to equipping fathers and pastors with the resources to raise the next generation of godly men.

He has Master of Arts and Master of Education degrees from the University of Kentucky and a Doctor of Education from Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky.
