Dr. James Hilton to speak in chapel at Cedarville University

Lead pastor and teacher at The Journey in Orange City, Florida, slated to speak in chapel.


Dr. James Hilton, lead pastor and teacher at The Journey in Orange City, Florida, will speak in chapel at Cedarville University on Tuesday and Wednesday, Jan. 23-24, 2018.

Hilton was born in Orlando to a preacher and his wife. He accepted Christ at a young age but began to truly follow Jesus at the age of 17. While attending the University of Central Florida, he served as youth pastor in two churches and graduated with a business communications degree. Twenty years ago, Hilton married Shana and they have four children: Josiah, Halyn, Gracyn and Ansley.

After attending Southeastern Seminary, Hilton received a Master of Divinity degree and a Ph.D. in systematic theology. In 2004, Hilton became the lead pastor and teacher at The Journey.
