Ceremonies Honor Nursing Graduates
Hooding and pinning recognizes hard work of 128 graduates.
Cedarville University’s school of nursing will honor 128 graduating students on May 3 during its Academic Recognition ceremony. The program will be held Friday, May 3, at 10 a.m. in the Dixon Ministry Center.

Of the 128 graduating nursing students, 95 are receiving a pin as they earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) degree, and 33 will receive a hood in honor of completing their Master of Science in Nursing (M.S.N.).
“The pin is a symbolic expression of welcoming nurses into the profession, and the hood denotes scholarly professional achievement,” said Dr. Angie Mickle, dean of the school of nursing. “It’s a huge accomplishment, considering the robust number of students graduating from our nursing program.”
