Operation Heart 5K to Benefit Area Seniors

by Karina Brady, Student Public Relations Writer – September 20, 2019

Annual race is being put on by APA-ASP.

The Cedarville University American Pharmacists Association Academy of Student Pharmacists is hosting its annual Operation Heart 5K on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 9 a.m. The event will take place on the university’s Elvin R. King Cross Country Course.

This year’s Operation Heart 5K will raise funds for local senior walking club memberships. The goal is to encourage seniors in the Cedarville community to stay active, especially in the colder months. “We also hope to engage our community and bring greater awareness to the importance of living heart-healthy lifestyles,” said Samantha Gross, APhA-ASP co-chair.
