Salvations and Spiritual Growth at Fall Bible Conference

by Nicole Hackett, Student Public Relations Writer – August 16, 2019

The conference took place August 19-22 at the beginning of the 2019-20 school year.

Dean Inserra, Lead Pastor at City Church in Tallahassee, Florida, spoke at Cedarville University’s annual Fall Bible Conference on August 19-22 in the Dixon Ministry Center’s Jeremiah Chapel.

Inserra themed this year’s conference “The Process,” focusing on 1 Corinthians 2:9-3:3.  Students, faculty, and staff ere challenged to continue in Christian growth and maturity, with clear markers showing what it looks like to advance through the process God has provided.

On the final evening of Fall Bible Conference, approximately 50 students came forward to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Nearly 200 made other decisions to honor Christ with their lives. The start of each semester is an intentional time to challenge students to evaluate their faith and consider God’s call on their lives.
