Word of Life Executive Director Speaking

Don Lough, Jr., will receive the Alumnus of the Year award during this year's Legacy Banquet.

Don Lough, president of Word of Life Fellowship, will speak in chapel at Cedarville University on Wednesday, Oct. 2. Chapel begins at 10 a.m. and is open to the public.

Lough is Cedarville’s 2019 Alumnus of the Year. He will be honored during the university’s annual Legacy Banquet on October 4 during homecoming weekend.

Lough has a long history with Word of Life. At a young age, he worked in camps and conference programs. After seminary, he became assistant to the director of Word of Life’s international ministries. Five years later, he became vice president of international ministries, a position he held from 1997 to 2006. Lough served as director of Word of Life Fellowship from 2006-2011, before he was named executive director.

Lough earned a two-year diploma in Bible from Word of Life Bible Institute in 1984, a bachelor’s degree from Cedarville University in 1987 and a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1992. He is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in strategic planning from Lancaster Bible School.

He and his wife, Darla, have four children: Alyssa, Jonathan, Justin and Ashlyn.
