Cedarville Stories Podcast: God's Timing

by Clem Boyd, Communication Content Manager – August 20, 2020

This week’s podcast guest, Jason Grahame, is leading Cedarville's new physician assistant program. His wife, Charity, and he have discovered the Lord’s timing and provision are always trustworthy.

Great family life, fulfilling ministry, and a job he loved. Why would someone uproot all that blessing? Because the Blessing Giver was calling. And as this week’s podcast guest, Jason Grahame, discovered, the Lord’s timing and provision are always trustworthy.

Jason, a 1999 alumnus, came to Cedarville to lead the new physician assistant (PA) program, which is set to begin in 2023, pending external approvals. Before this new role, Jason was a PA in private practice and also Associate Program Director of the physician assistant program at Eastern Virginia Medical School.

A conversation in 2019 with Cedarville President Dr. Thomas White set in motion the move to Cedarville. Now, he and his wife, Charity, and their seven children, ages 2½ to 17, are part of the campus community.

COVID-19 has definitely impacted their transition to Cedarville, but the Grahame family has been welcomed back to Cedarville by long-time friends. Even with the development of the PA program, Jason has learned that Jesus is sovereign over the process. He has also learned, just as with God’s initial call, to trust the Lord’s provision and timing, not his own.
