Dr. Zach Jenkins, associate professor of pharmacy practice, has become a calming voice of accurate information for people across the country.

Dr. Zach Jenkins, associate professor of pharmacy practice, has been interviewed more than 60 times by media from around the country. His calm demeanor combined with a clear presentation of the facts have made him a voice of reason that many have found helpful and comforting.
Zach has found the whole experience humbling. How could a man who didn’t really enjoy learning about infectious disease in pharmacy school become someone so sought after for his infectious disease insight? But, by the Lord’s plan and design,
he received input from respected instructors who helped him develop a love and interest in the field.
“God positioned me to be here right now,” Zach said. "That’s been an amazing thing to think about.”
Zach appreciates being a calming influence sharing the latest data, but the source of his calm is his relationship with Christ. Scientific data is important in navigating the pandemic, but it’s Christ alone who can keep us steady and focused through this health care storm.
