Progress on a COVID-19 Vaccine

Dr. Zachary Jenkins, an infectious disease expert and associate professor of pharmacy practice at Cedarville University, will present at The American Association of Pharmacists’ COVID-19 Vaccine Landscape seminar on Tuesday, Nov. 17.

Dr. Zachary Jenkins, an infectious disease expert and associate professor of pharmacy practice at Cedarville University, will present at The American Association of Pharmacists’ COVID-19 Vaccine Landscape seminar on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at 11 a.m. The event will be held virtually over Zoom.

Jenkins will speak on the current progress in developing a COVID-19 vaccine in order to educate pharmacy students, pre-pharmacy students and prospective pharmacy students.

Jenkins reports that studies project that roughly 50-60% of people will immediately seek out a vaccine once a safe one has been developed and that a successful vaccine will aid the United States on a path back to normalcy.
