DeWitt is a professor at Cedarville University. He’s also a blogger, author, and illustrator. He’s also a gifted apologist of the Christian faith and has served as lead pastor for a church that met on the campus of the University of Louisville.

Mostly, DeWitt thinks a lot about how to communicate the Gospel. He has learned not to rush a reply to the latest critique of Christian thought and culture, but he lets his thoughts percolate, much like his favorite hot beverage, until he comes up with a clear, compelling, and concise response.

Cedarville Stories Fun Facts about Dan DeWitt

The Center for Biblical Apologetics and Public Christianity is Dr. DeWitt’s brainchild. The goal of the center is to help Christians learn how to engage culture and think about how to live their faith in the public square.

Christian hip-hop artist Flame used Dr. DeWitt’s first book, Jesus or Nothing, as inspiration for an album of the same name.

Dr. DeWitt really likes his java. He meets every Friday with students for a breakfast session he calls “Mere Caffeination.” For his ruminations about faith, life, and the intersection of the Gospel with culture, read his blog at Theolatte.com.
