Historically, Cedarville University’s annual fall career fair is the largest opportunity for students to interact with prospective employers. This is expected to be the case on Wednesday, Oct. 5, when 177 organizations participate in Cedarville’s fair in the Doden Field House. “We are thankful that we have the opportunity to connect individuals with some of the leading organizations in our country during this career fair,” said Jeff Reep, director of career services at Cedarville University.

Like in previous years, this year’s fair has attracted many of the largest organizations in the United States, including Procter and Gamble, Boeing, Honda, Samaritan’s Purse, Dayton Children’s Hospital and the FBI.

Cedarville’s annual career fair has grown each year for the past decade. Last year there were 110 employers participating, and the increase in organizations attending speaks to the quality of prospective employees who regularly attend Cedarville’s career fair.

Wednesday’s career fair is focused on challenging college students and residents from the Miami Valley to “unlock your future.” Whether a freshman or senior — or someone from the community, all attendees should benefit from interacting with employers. “A lot of times students will find internships or employment opportunities through the career fair,” said Reep. “If you can get an internship as a freshman, that will jump-start your career.”
