Cedarville ranked 27th in the nation.

In the 2019 review of online nursing master's programs by TheBestSchools.org, Cedarville University’s program is ranked 27th in the nation.

For a university, the size of Cedarville to be listed among the leading programs at Duke University, Vanderbilt University, and The Ohio State University is a remarkable accomplishment.

“It is an honor for the Cedarville University School of Nursing M.S.N. program to be acknowledged along with the other universities on the list,” commented Kim Higginbotham, assistant dean of the school of nursing graduate program. “We maintain academic excellence through the diverse expertise of the faculty and low student-faculty ratios.”

The Cedarville program offers part-time and full-time options, which gives professionals the option of pursuing a master’s degree that fits in their busy schedules. Cedarville M.S.N. students also can complete their degree at their own pace.

Earning an advanced degree from a university with a distinctly Christian perspective is also a benefit of the Cedarville M.S.N. “The online learning format allows students to earn a graduate degree from a Christian university known for academic excellence without relocating,” Higginbotham said. “Students gain knowledge and the necessary skills to care for patients at the highest standards while also showing the compassion of Christ.”

Located in southwest Ohio, Cedarville University is an accredited, Christ-centered, Baptist institution with an enrollment of 4,380 undergraduate, graduate and online students in more than 150 areas of study. Founded in 1887, Cedarville is recognized nationally for its authentic Christian community, rigorous academic programs, including its Master of Science in Nursing program, strong graduation and retention rates, accredited professional and health science offerings and high student engagement ranking.
