Larry Burkett Award Honors Alumnus Jason Alexander

In the world of finance, Larry Burkett was an inspirational leader who provided sage investment advice to individuals through his books and radio program. For Jason Alexander, Larry Burkett was a legend.  When Kingdom Advisors awarded the prestigious Larry Burkett Award to Alexander at its annual conference in Orlando, Florida, he was truly honored and humbled.

“Larry Burkett’s books and radio program were a staple in our home growing up,” said Alexander, a Managing Director for Merrill Wealth Management in Pittsford, New York.  “To fast forward 35 years later and receive the Larry Burkett Award is an incredible honor.”    

Throughout his career, Alexander has demonstrated strong leadership while continuing to invest in Cedarville by regularly finding ways to connect with students in the Robert W. Plaster School of Business.

Alexander noted that his passion for investing in Cedarville students stems from how his own experiences at Cedarville shaped him for the better. “I’m eternally grateful for the investment Cedarville and the business professors made in my life,” said Alexander. “Cedarville is a place where I experienced tremendous growth spiritually and academically, laying the foundation for both my life and career.”
