CBI External Lecture with Dr Hamilton - March 17, 2020

CBI External Lecture with Dr Hamilton

March 17, 2020 from 4:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.

Within our respective disciplines we are all engaged in getting students to think about what it means to do the work they are called in a Christian fashion, shaped by a biblical-theological worldview. We want them to do their work with excellence, but also have a clear understanding of what God is calling them to in their work, regardless of their occupation. Dr. Jim Hamilton, Professor of Biblical Theology at Southern Seminary, will highlight key truths for understanding what it means to do our work for God in a world devastated by sin. This lecture, put on by the Center for Biblical Integration, will offer faculty a chance to further their understanding of a theology of work, and thereby better equip their students for the tasks before them. Refreshments will be provided and several copies of Dr. Hamilton's book Work and Our Labor in the Lord will be given away.
