One Thousand Days Transformed - The Campaign for Cedarville

Cedarville University Discipleship Ministries exists to cultivate joy-filled, resilient, fruitful individuals for the good of others and the glory of God.

Discipleship Council: Commonly known as the "DC," this group of upperclassmen assists the Discipleship Director in administration of the CU Discipleship small groups. Throughout the year, the DC examines the topic of discipleship through Bible study, group interaction, and shared ministry experience.

CU Discipleship Groups: Often called "d-groups" on campus, these small groups seek to create an atmosphere for spiritual growth through accountability, prayer, open discussion, and loving community. Led by upperclassmen, under the direction of the DC, the groups start in the fall and meet once a week for the duration of the school year. The meetings alternate between community building activities and discussion of a topic of study. Sign-ups occur the third week of fall semester in the Stevens Student Center.

Fit To Be Tied: Engaged or seriously dating couples may take advantage of this year-long marriage preparation program. Student couples are paired with a faculty or staff mentor couple to meet with throughout the year in order to discuss issues and questions raised in five general session meetings.

Tied and True: Tied and True exists to cultivate marriages that adorn the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This ministry is a complement to our Fit to be Tied program and seeks to provide guidance and mentoring to our newly married student couples.
