Your May Inside View is Ready for Review

May 26, 2017

Inside View logo

Each month our President, Dr. Thomas White, publishes an e-newsletter that shares his "Inside View" into all that is happening at Cedarville University. We'd like to share this month's edition with you.

In it you will read about:

  • the recent graduation of Cedarville's largest class;
  • Elliv, our biggest student-led event of the year; and
  • Cedarville's commitment to a truly biblical, life-transforming education.

You'll also find a link to our President's chapel series from the book of James and read and watch a video about a group of Cedarville students making a difference in a local ministry to high school students.

As you consider Cedarville for your son or daughter, we hope this "Inside View" gives you a taste of what Cedarville is all about.

Getting Oriented to Dual Credit Classes

May 24, 2017

College Now LogoIf your high school student plans to take a College Now course from Cedarville University in either fall 2017 or spring 2018, make plans to attend the Orientation Day on August 7, 2017, here on campus.

During this free, informative day, students will:

  • Meet their program adviser
  • Learn about the technology and software they will use in class
  • Learn skills to be successful in either the online or on-campus classroom
  • Learn how to access library resources, whether they will commute to campus or take an online course
  • Pick up textbooks in the Cedarville University bookstore

While not mandatory, this orientation day will give students confidence as they begin their College Now experience and help them succeed in the college-level classroom. Space is limited to the first 150 students who register. Register today to ensure your student’s spot!

If you are unable to attend or if your student is taking a course during summer session, you can review orientation information online. If you have questions, please contact your student’s adviser:

Time Is Running Out to Register for Summer Academic Camps

May 22, 2017

summer academic camps 2017

You still have time to register your student for Cedarville University summer academic camps — a fun, engaging way to explore career options and prepare for the future. But time is running out — some camps are already full and others are filling quickly!

At Cedarville’s summer academic camps, students can spend a week at Cedarville exploring a career field that interests them. Choose from art and design, athletic training, engineering (FULL), forensic science, geology, music, nursing (FULL), pharmacy, psychology, Spanish, theatre, worship, or writing.

In a few short days, students accomplish much more than career exploration. Camp faculty will challenge them to make their career their calling. They will consider how their gifts, skills, and interests can make a difference in this world for Christ.

Encourage your student to attend one of these life-changing camps this summer!

Register now before it’s too late!
