High School Students Taking College Courses ... and Saving Money!

May 12, 2017

College Now @ CedarvilleYou may be getting ready to send one child off to college, but do you still have other children at home? Cedarville University has an opportunity for them as well! Our College Now program allows students to enroll in college-level courses while they’re still in high school, potentially saving thousands on their total college costs.

As part of Cedarville’s College Now program, high school students can:

  • Study with top Cedarville professors who will challenge them to think deeply and apply biblical principles to what they are learning
  • Get a head start on college, potentially saving both time and money in completing their degree
  • Gain confidence that they’ll excel at college-level academics
  • Save (a lot!) on tuition

And, if you’re an Ohio resident, your student may be able to take courses for FREE through Ohio’s College Credit Plus program. Those outside of Ohio can take advantage of greatly reduced costs though our Family Pay Option.

There's still time to enroll for fall classes, which begin August 23, 2017. However, deadlines for Ohio private and homeschooled students to apply for state funding for this year have passed.

Check out our website to learn more and encourage your high school student to start College Now!

Commencement Celebrates Transformed Lives

May 10, 2017

Graduates walking inCedarville University recently graduated its largest class ever, with 796 students earning undergraduate and graduate degrees on Saturday, May 6.

That’s 796 students whose lives were transformed by their time at Cedarville. Students who grew closer in their walk with the Lord from intentional mentoring, daily chapels, and biblical integration in their coursework. Students who were challenged by rigorous academics and prepared to succeed in their chosen field. Students who were in the same place as your student just four years ago, and are now ready to go out into the world and make a difference for Christ.

Be encouraged that your student, too, will experience amazing transformation at Cedarville, and you’ll be surprised at how fast the next four years will go! We will be praying for you and your student as you prepare for the transition to college life.

P.S. Watch this video featuring a few of our 2017 graduates sharing their favorite Cedarville memories and looking forward to what God has for them in the future:
