Enjoy Cedarville's Chapel From Home!

August 19, 2016

chapelChapel has long been called the heartbeat of Cedarville University, where students, faculty, and staff gather each weekday for dynamic worship and powerful preaching. Chapel is just one way we help our students grow in their walk with God, and most students consider chapel a highlight of their Cedarville education! We've recently completed a renovation and expansion of our beautiful Jeremiah Chapel, and it is ready for the kickoff of a new academic year and our annual Fall Bible Conference.

If you really want to understand Cedarville culture and what makes us "tick," you need to experience chapel.

Read today's post for information on how to watch Cedarville's chapel from your home and enjoy a taste of what your student can expect as a Cedarville University student.

Does College Choice Influence Students' Sexual Behavior?

April 20, 2016

couple holding handsWhere students choose to attend college may have a big impact on their sexual behavior during those critical four years.  As Dannah Gresh — founder of Pure Freedom ministries and a Cedarville alumna — explains in a recent blog post, every college provides moral guidance for its students, but the kind of moral guidance will differ greatly for each institution. Dannah gives alarming statistics about sexual behaviors on secular college campuses and the rampant “hook-up" culture that exists there.

At Cedarville University, we want to be different. We are committed to an approach to sexuality and moral purity that reflects biblical values. Your son or daughter will be surrounded by faculty, staff, and fellow students who love the Lord and seek to honor Him with all aspects of their life.

P.S. If your student has been accepted to Cedarville for Fall 2016, be sure to submit your $250 reservation deposit by May 1 to ensure a place in the incoming class.

He also explains how a study abroad semester can greatly enhance the college experience.

Cedarville students have the unique opportunity to spend a summer, semester, or a year on approved domestic and international programs, including our most popular sites in Valencia, Spain (Spanish language and culture) and Washington, D.C. (Center for Political Studies), as well as a brand-new psychology course in Ireland. At Cedarville, our study abroad programs exist throughout the world and cover all majors.
