April 17, 2018

Who is the #1 influencer of a college decision?

For Cedarville students, it's MOM!

We asked a few of our very important moms what they appreciate most about Cedarville and the impact this place has had on their son or daughter. We think you'll be encouraged by the answers they shared in this short video — including introductory comments from best-selling author, founder of Pure Freedom and Secret Keeper Girl, and Cedarville alumna Dannah Gresh.

Parents Measure ROI for Their Students' Cedarville Education

April 3, 2018

Diploma on pile of moneyAs high school seniors and their parents sit down to finalize a college decision before the May 1 deadline, one topic is nearly always part of the discussion: cost.

While many universities — including Cedarville — are taking intentional steps to make a college education more affordable, parents are increasingly looking at job placement rates in order to weigh an institution’s benefits against its costs in an effort to decide whether or not a considerable investment is worthwhile.

Cedarville's placement rates continue to be impressive. In a six-month postgraduation final destination survey, 97.5% of Cedarville's class of 2017 reported being employed or in graduate school during that time period. This is not a one-year anomoly: Cedarville's three-year average is also 97%

These placement results are well above the national averages reported by the National Association of Colleges and Employers, which has reported an average of 88% over the last five years. But don't just take our word for it. Read the Q-and-A in today's post, originally published in an issue of Cedarville Magazine, and see what parents are saying about their children's experience at Cedarville.

Living Water Apologetics Conference at Cedarville

March 29, 2018

Living water graphicIf you’re within driving distance of Cedarville, we invite you to join us on April 4 for Living Water, our annual apologetics conference hosted by Cedarville’s Center for Biblical Apologetics and Public Christianity. Our plenary session speakers Sam Allberry and Rosaria Butterfield will challenge us as believers to think carefully, biblically, and pastorally about how we can live, model, and share the Gospel in a sexually broken world.

The conference is free, but seating is limited. To guarantee a spot, you can purchase a “backstage pass” for $10 online, which also includes a meet and greet with the speakers.

Watch a video to hear Dr. Dan DeWitt, Director of the Center for Biblical Apologetics and Public Christianity, share more about this informative, timely conference.
