Doris E. Nevin Memorial Scholarship

Established in 2012 by Dr. L. Delyte Morris, this annually funded one-time scholarship was created to assist senior allied health students preparing for a graduate program in physician assistant studies and to honor the memory of the grantors wise and godly teacher, mentor, and friend, Doris E. Nevin. Her life to its end reflected the attributes of Galatians 5:22-23. She taught by example what it means to have a servants heart. Recipients must have a cumulative GPA of 3.45 or above and demonstrate a consistent Christian walk and involvement in Christian ministries. The chair of the Department of Kinesiology and Allied Health in consultation with the department faculty and Director of Financial Aid select the recipients.
