Dr. Merlin and Ruth Ager Education Award

Established in 1999 by the School of Education faculty, this endowed one-time scholarship was created to honor Dr. Merlin 60 and Ruth (Himsel) Ager 61 and to recognize outstanding graduating senior School of Education students who exemplify the values of the school, including academic excellence, youth involvement, and Christian ministry. Recipients must a grade average of 3.3 or above and have participated in an effective ongoing ministry to young people while attending Cedarville University. Preference will be given to students who plan to teach overseas and those who have demonstrated financial need. The School of Education faculty will select the recipients.
