Dr. and Mrs. Gilbert Gallagher Memorial Scholarship

Established in 2016 by David and Kathy Gallagher, this endowed scholarship was created to honor the memory of David's parents, Dr. and Mrs. Gilbert G. Gallagher, and to recognize the academic merit and Christian character of junior and senior students in the School of Engineering and Computer Science. Recipients must be pursing a major in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering in the School of Engineering and Computer Science and have a 3.3 grade point average or above. Preference will be given to students who have a grade point average of 3.5 or above and who demonstrate Christian character through their academic interactions with the Department of Engineering and Computer Science Dean and faculty and active involvement in Christian ministries. When evaluating multiple qualified students, the selection committee may also consider factors such as physical, personal and/or financial challenges the student may face.The Dean and faculty of the School of Engineering and Computer Science, with consultation of the Director of Financial Aid, will select the recipients.
