Frances Varey Banks Nursing Award

Established in 2009 by Herbert and Judith Shrubsole, this endowed one-time scholarship was created to recognize the academic achievements of students pursuing a Master of Science of Nursing degree with a Global Health Ministry concentration. Recipients must be pursuing a Master of Science of Nursing degree with a Global Health Ministry concentration, have at least one year of study remaining in their academic program, and have a cumulative grade average of 3.8 or above. Preference will be given to students who are not citizens of the United States and who hold an F-1 student visa. The Dean of the School of Nursing and the Global Public Health Nursing program faculty will select the recipients.
